How to watch House of Payne season 11

During the first five seasons, the show was rated TV-PG but due to a rapid increase of strong language and mature content (particularly, sexual) recent episodes have been rated TV-14. As of mid-October 2023, Tyler Perry’s House of Payne has not been renewed for the 13th season. However, it’s one of the more popular shows on the platform, and it has been developed by Perry, who has given the network a number of hit projects, including this one. So, it’s likely a matter of time before the series is officially greenlit for another season.

Unfortunately, at this time we don’t have any official word as to when and where the new season will debut in the UK. Once we receive any release date news, we can pass along the update here. Those wishing to watch new episodes of the show when they debut live will need a subscription to the BET network. In addition to being a channel on cable/satellite television, BET is also available on live TV platforms such as Fubo TV, Hulu with Live TV, Sling TV, and YouTube TV. LaVan has also been featured in a number of Tyler Perry projects including Meet the Browns (both the TV series and film) and Daddy’s Little Girls. In 2007, famous writer/director/producer/actor Tyler Perry made his first jump into the world of television with the sitcom House of Payne. Prior to the show’s release, he gained a large fanbase from movies like Diary of a Mad Black Woman and Madea’s Family Reunion. Now roughly 15 years later, Perry has expanded the Tyler Perry Studios brand to several shows on TV including Ruthless, Bruh, Zatima, Young Dylan and more. While his empire steadily grows, House of Payne continues to entertain its viewers and serves as a reminder of Perry’s first venture into episodic television.

Tyler shared a full view of the room – the study – in 2014 when he thanked family and friends for his birthday gifts. There is a matching oak desk with a glass top for working on and a maroon leather desk chair, as well as a traditional fireplace. The regal aesthetic continues with large chandeliers, seen in both the living and dining room. The living room opens up on to the dining room through a marble archway. The living room also has a large black grand piano, where Stevie Wonder played at Tyler's birthday party in 2014.

Larramie "Doc" Shaw, who portrayed Malik, appeared infrequently after the sixth season. This was due to Shaw's work schedules for The Suite Life on Deck and Pair of Kings. In 2016, Tyler shared a video of himself in one of the living rooms. It features high ceilings with a beige colour scheme including two enormous leather sofas and a selection of coordinating side lamps. There are wooden floors with patterned rugs, and large marble plinths and arches leading to different areas of the home. The video ends with a view of the corridor, built with an alcove ceiling.

Perry's home, in Beverly Ridge, was built in 2012 over 24,500 square feet by the writer, comedian, producer and director, famous for his character Madea. However, the couple are still looking for their permanent home and Page Six reports they are staying at an eight-bedroom, 12-bathroom Tuscan-style mansion fit for a king and queen in the meantime. When I was building this house I thought this will be a great place for me to sit out in my backyard and write, read, and nap. Perry’s current home, which he built from scratch, has been kept mostly private.

The series revolves around a multi-generational family living under one roof in Atlanta led by patriarch Curtis Payne and his wife Ella. Lee]) was C.J.'s ex-girlfriend and Malik and Jazmine's assistant principal. She first appeared in the Season 1 episode "Teacher's Pet" where she visited the Payne household to bring back a hamster Jazmine took from the school.

You’ll notice that the trailer is combined with the trailer for Tyler Perry’s Assisted Living. Malik managed to go to college while preparing for fatherhood, as he now has a baby of his own. Jazmine is perhaps the smartest of the family, and also says the shadiest comments. The two share a child, Calvin, who has two kids of his own. Calvin unfortunately has a very complicated love life. While he’s claimed to have moved onto his new partner Laura, he’s very much still involved with his ex-wife Miranda, the latter of which has a habit of being a bit manipulative.

The 53-year-old shares a son Aman Tyler Perry, 7, with his ex-partner of nine years, Gelila Bekele who is an Ethiopian-born supermodel. When Meghan and Harry joined a video conference with the Crisis Text Line team to thank staff for their work, and the room they filmed in has also been used by Tyler for a video that he shared in 2017. It features oak wall panels and two large lampshades seen behind both Tyler and Meghan and Harry. One Instagram video shot by Perry shows him poolside at the mansion sharing news with fans about his show The Haves and the Have Nots. Over the years, Perry has posted regular pictures of himself at his various homes, including the one in exclusive guard-gated Beverly Ridge where the duke and duchess are said to be staying.

Wondering why Perry would give up such a luxurious home? It could be that the filmmaker, who set a record when he sold his nearly 35,000-square-foot Atlanta home for $17.5 million in 2016, just has an affection for dealing in luxury real estate. Perry listed the mansion with Josh and Matt Altman, luxury Los Angeles real estate brokers known for their work on Bravo's Million Dollar Listing. According to Variety, the filmmaker's other Beverly Hills mansion, which measures 25,545 square feet, dwarfs the house that just hit the market. The 24,545 square foot Mediterranean-style mansion sits on a 22 acre lot, so we imagine that Meghan and Harry’s toddler son Archie and two dogs had plenty of space to play and roam during their time here.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry spent much of 2020 residing in the $15 million mega-mansion owned by Tyler Perry in the Beverly Ridge Estate of LA. Episode six of the couple's eye-opening Netflix docuseries 'Harry & Meghan', features a compelling moment with Tyler Perry, who revealed that he had never met the Sussexes prior to reaching out with a very generous offer... Since the show’s conception, the series has starred Cassie Davis and LaVan Davis as Ella and Curtis Payne. (While there is a common assumption the actors are related, it’s simply a coincidence that they share the last name). Here’s everything we know about the House of Payne season 11 part 2.

Meet The Browns Film

This may be because Lance Gross, who plays Calvin Payne in the series, plays a character named Michael in the film and LaVan Davis, who plays Curtis Payne, plays a bus driver. Curtis claimed Brown made them wait in the cemetery for two hours while he gave his father a tour of Atlanta (his last request), but in the movie, Brown stayed the entire time. The episodes serve as a backdoor pilot to Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns, a spin-off of the film and play as well as House of Payne.

Tyler Perry directed some of the episodes in seasons 5 and 6 while other episodes were directed by Kim Fields, Chip Hurd, and producer Roger M. Bobb. The interior of the house is outfitted with marble stairs and pyramid-shaped skylights. Actor and comic Tyler Perry listed his three-story glass-walled Beverly Hills mansion with a concert venue and space for 30 cars for nearly $17 million on Friday, according to real estate web site Trulia. Because the former duke and duchess were cut off financially from the royal family shortly after moving to California (and, as we learned via the interview, denied security), they had limited options as to where they could stay.

Madea’s Tough Love Film

Larramie "Doc" Shaw, who portrays Malik, has appeared infrequently since the sixth season. This is due to Shaw's work schedule for The Suite Life on Deck and Pair of Kings, a show he currently stars on Disney XD. Tyler Perry directed every episode of the first 3 seasons. Throughout Season 4, each episode was directed by actress Kim Fields or her mother Chip Hurd.

Ruthless Television

It also had elements of slapstick.[2] The storyline of the show is serialized, with many references to past episodes, creating a continuing story arc. At the beginning of the fifth season, China Anne McClain (Jazmine) and Denise Burse (Claretha) were removed from the series. The characters were written out, with Jazmine going away to a school for gifted children in North Carolina and Claretha marrying a prince and moving away. In real life, McClain left the series for undisclosed reasons.

In one episode, it was shown she even gets upset when C.J.

However, no sale went through and Perry continued building over the next five years before the house was completed in 2012. Harry also watched father Prince Charles come down with coronavirus while stranded in a different time zone. Because it has been listed for sale, plenty of photos of the interior and exterior of the mansion can be seen online. Outside the house, there are formal and informal gardens, a hobby house, an entire estate generator, a caretaker’s suite and a presidential-level security system that includes two gated entrances. It seems the Roman baths inspired Tyler's choice of bathroom design, with a circular jacuzzi built into the floor, framed with four marble plinths and below a huge chandelier. Meghan and Harry's son Archie also has a beautiful nursery. Tyler shared a look inside at the room that he previously used for his son Aman, featuring a blue and white colour scheme with wooden floors and white walls. There's a white cot and a matching armchair and side table.

Putting the family back in family comedy, Tyler Perry’s House of Payne tackles real life issues with very funny humor. This chaotic living situation takes its toll on cranky Pops, who is reluctant to have his routine disturbed. In addition to CJ’s family, Pops and Ella’s son, Calvin, a wise-cracking college kid with no money, hangs out at home which makes it impossible for Pops to have any peace and quiet. It soon becomes evident just how wide the generation gap is, as the family tries to find a way to coexist through all of life’s hilarious ups and downs. Tyler Perry’s House of Payne is a comedy series about a multigenerational, working class family who experiences all of life’s struggles with faith, love and most importantly humor.

So, how exactly did two former royals come to live in a movie mogul’s Beverly Hills home? The arrangement is rumored to have been finagled by Oprah, who happens to be the godmother of Tyler Perry’s son Aman. While Harry and Meghan lived in his Beverly Hills abode, Perry was working in Atlanta—where he once owned a 35,000 square foot Versailles-inspired mansion that now belongs to Steve Harvey. All of the episodes from the first five seasons were directed by Tyler Perry. Throughout Season 6, each episode has been directed by actress Kim Fields or her mother Chip Hurd. Tyler Perry directed some of the episodes in Season 7.

Either way, we're all for the kind of celebrity support going on here. Naturally, you’re probably looking to know more about the home—and we did some sleuthing to find out everything there is to know about the Beverly Hills mansion where the former royals lived for a few months in the spring of 2020. If you are lucky enough to have a generous family member, ask your real estate agent and mortgage lender in advance what information they will require to document the down payment gift. Unless you are lucky enough to be able to make an all-cash offer, California buyers will need to save up a sizable portion of funds for a down payment when using mortgage financing. If your mortgage pre-approval is set to expire before you’ve completed the home-buying process, this does not mean you have to start the pre-approval application process from square one. Although there is no set time frame, the custom within the real estate industry is that mortgage pre-approval is valid for between 90 to 180 days.

How much is private mortgage insurance?

You'll need at least a 620 credit score to be considered, however, and have an annual income that doesn't exceed 80% of the median income in your area. A higher down payment helps reduce your monthly mortgage payments, which can keep your DTI at a reasonable level. As noted earlier, the typical down payment for first-time home buyers in America is about 6% of the purchase price. However, buying a home with as little as zero down is possible for USDA and VA borrowers, and others can put as little as 3% or 3.5% down.

Check out today’s mortgage rates.

If your loan requires other types of insurance like private mortgage insurance (PMI) or homeowner's association dues (HOA), these premiums may also be included in your total mortgage payment. However, home-buyers must pay an upfront mortgage insurance premium at closing that is worth 1.75% of the loan amount, on top of the down payment. In addition, monthly mortgage insurance payments last for the life of the loan unless refinanced to a conventional loan. Keep your debt-to-income ratio low

The down payment requirements for a conventional loan on a primary residence vary depending on the lender, the borrower and the property type. For example, first-time homebuyers and buyers with low to moderate incomes could qualify for a fixed-rate conventional loan with a 3 percent down payment. Generally, there’s no universally-set figure for how much a monthly mortgage payment would be for a $700K home.

The lowest downpayment required to buy a home depends on the purchase price or the property’s assessed value. There are 3 different downpayment requirements based on the property’s value. Pay close attention to fees like origination fees, discount points and underwriting fees. Don’t be afraid to ask questions about them and negotiate with lenders to get some of them reduced or waived. Ontario, Manitoba and Quebec apply provincial sales tax to mortgage loan insurance premiums.

How to Save for a House: Fast and Easy Tips

Typically the first fixed period offers a low rate, making it beneficial if you plan to refinance or move before the first rate adjustment. Remember, your monthly house payment includes more than just repaying the amount you borrowed to purchase the home. The "principal" is the amount you borrowed and have to pay back (the loan itself), and the interest is the amount the lender charges for lending you the money. IRA—The principal contributed to a Roth IRA (individual retirement account) can be withdrawn without penalty or tax. In contrast, contributions from a traditional IRA will be subject to regular income tax as well as a 10% penalty if the contributions are withdrawn prior to the age of 59 ½. The funds can also legally be used to purchase a home for a spouse, parents, children, or grandchildren.

How can I avoid paying PMI without making a 20 percent down payment?

But the bill also allows the president to forgive those loans starting in 2026. Military funding for Ukraine makes up the largest part of the package, totaling $60.8 billion. New York City real estate expert and agent Frances Katzen explains. This means Los Angeles residents need an annual income of $249,471 to comfortably afford a median home, but only make $87,743 – a staggering $161,728 less than needed.

The PMI is normally paid as a monthly fee added to the mortgage until the balance of the loan falls below 80 or 78% of the home purchase price. Rather than simply borrowing the maximum loan amount a lender approves, evaluate your estimated monthly mortgage payment too. Lenders use two ratios to help determine the monthly mortgage amount you can afford.

You likely won’t pay that much every month, but big one-time costs like a new roof or HVAC system (combined with smaller repairs like new paint or broken light switches) add up over time. The calculation of the minimum down payment depends on the purchase price of the home. When tapping into retirement accounts, most buyers elect to borrow against their 401(k). So long as a buyer borrows the money to purchase a home, they can borrow half of the vested account value or $50,000, whichever is less. But buyers should only employ their 401(k) if they know they are secure in their career. When receiving a gift toward a down payment on a home, it is important to document it appropriately.

Once you reach 20 percent equity in your home, you can request that your lender remove PMI from your bill. You could also consider a rent-to-own arrangement, where you rent a home with the option to buy it later. During the rental period, a portion of your payments will cover the rent while the rest will be put toward a down payment on the house. This can help you avoid having to come up with a large lump sum to put down—though keep in mind that it’s best to get preapproved for a mortgage beforehand to make sure the home is in your budget. Sometimes it’s a low-interest loan or a no-interest loan that you’ll have to pay back. Down payment assistance also can be a forgivable loan that you won’t have to repay as long as you live in the home for a certain amount of time.

Each payment builds equity though and you will build equity faster if you start off with a larger down payment. If you’re struggling to come up with a down payment, you may still be able to qualify for a home loan. Consider your loan requirements, financial situation and individual preferences when deciding how much you need for a house down payment. It’s essential, however, to analyze your financial situation to determine whether a large down payment is a good option for you.

Premiums are calculated based on your loan-to-value (LTV) ratio, so the higher your LTV, the higher your premium. Your total premium will also vary based on whether you add the premium amount to your mortgage (subject to interest-carrying costs) or paid upfront (not subject to interest-carrying costs). The first step is to figure out your housing budget, and from there you can deduce the size of the down payment you will need. Additionally, you need to know the average closing costs in the area where you want to buy a house as you’ll have to either save up for those or roll them into the loan.

Some mortgages require a large down payment, but if you plan to use government-backed financing like an FHA loan, you may qualify for a lower down payment. Note that if you put less than a 20% down payment, your lender will likely require you to pay private mortgage insurance (PMI). This extra fee protects the lender in case you don’t pay back your loan. Buyers seeking a conventional mortgage loan with low down payments will likely require PMI - more formally known as private mortgage insurance. PMI is required when a buyer requests a loan from a mortgage lender with a down payment of less than 20%. Figuring out your credit score helps determine what percentage of purchase price lenders may require for a down payment.

Clever said if mortgage rates dropped to 2.5% tomorrow, the same household would be able to afford a home that cost $300,000 — underscoring the impact of high mortgage rates on affordability. With a 20% down payment, only six metro areas are affordable for the median earner, the data revealed. However, be sure you understand the account’s terms, especially if you put money in CDs. Choose a maturity date long before you’ll need the funds to buy your house. Don’t forget the miscellaneous costs of buying a new home, such as a moving truck, utility deposits and stocking essentials like lightbulbs and toilet paper. Building a buffer into your savings plan is a good idea because you never know how negotiations will turn out or what unexpected costs may arise.

As soon as you take possession of the house, you’ll need to connect utilities and purchase food. Consider talking to a loan officer about the types of mortgage loans available to you based on your current credit score, income and other factors to determine the size of down payment you’ll need. Your lender may require that you get mortgage loan insurance, even if you have a 20% down payment. That’s usually the case if you’re self-employed or have a poor credit history.

The maggots feed on the organic material in which they hatch, and within just a few more days, they complete their pupal cycle and produce another generation of adult flies. Additionally, window and door screens are effective ways to prevent houseflies from entering your home. Also, don’t forget to keep food stored in airtight containers or the refrigerator. Housefly (Musca domestica)

Although fruits flies and gnats are common household flies, other flying bugs can become a significant nuisance in homes. For example, some species of flying insects are commonly found in kitchens, whereas others are where you have houseplants. Fruit flies (Drosophila melanogaster) are extremely small (1/10 inch) flying insects that selectively lay their eggs in decaying fruit and certain other food, such as mushrooms. While it can be disconcerting when a small swarm of fruit flies suddenly appears around a bowl of fruit or bunch of bananas, it should bother you less than a housefly infestation. Fruit flies are essentially harmless and they do not spread disease as do ordinary houseflies. Imagine fruit flies buzzing as you cook dinner, fungus gnats hovering over your houseplants or nasty creatures lingering in your kitchen sink.

This method is helpful when you find them in your garbage bin or another container. Although many people think of chemical insecticides first for any pest control, chemical control should be avoided if possible. Through overuse, the common housefly has gradually developed resistance to many chemicals, which means that increasingly heavy applications are necessary to kill them. While pesticides may make some sense outdoors, it's best to avoid them indoor spaces whenever possible. "Invest in a fly screen door or mesh curtain to protect your home from flies with ease," suggests Jordan Foster, a pest control expert at Fantastic Pest Control. This solution allows you to leave the windows and doors open and not be quite so restrictive with having food out on the counter inside the house.

Furthermore, overly ripe fruits and rotting vegetables should be put in the outdoor trash. You can usually identify fruit flies because they hover around fruit bowls, trash cans, and spilled sugary liquids. While I wouldn’t want to live in a house like that, I wouldn’t mind some of the details, which have a very decadent, feminine feel. I’m hoping to bring that in through some of the lights I’ve chosen for our home, especially in the foyer. We’re used to seeing pictures of colorful walls paired with a crisp, white trim. Especially in kids’ rooms, I think it can be really fun to turn that notion on its head by painting the trim a color that ties in with the surrounding wallpaper. It’s a nice complement—the trim enhances the wallpaper, and vice versa.

I’m operating in a very limited capacity when it comes to interior design. I still take on a select clientele—a few every year—because I don’t have time to take on very many projects. I’m known for a specific color palette and I do things my own way, and if I don’t find what I’m looking for, I make it myself. How would you describe your content in those days, and how has it evolved? I was writing mostly about personal experiences—projects I was doing, life as an expat, my travels. It was definitely a lot of me, and interestingly, it’s always been this combination of people wanting to see behind-the-scenes of my life or what I’m creating or doing.

Architectural details include a beautiful arch window, pilasters with fluting detail, and intricate plaster molding. On a recent trip to the iconic Ritz in Paris, I was immediately inspired. Every detail at the Ritz is ornate—it’s so over the top, in a good way!

But her style is more a melting pot of her past—Caitlin was raised in San Francisco’s Bay Area and has lived around the world, including in Portland, Paris, Dubai, and London. Following a design course at Parsons in New York City, she launched her interior design company in 2007 and in 2011 debuted her first pillow collection while living in Hong Kong. David Levine has offered architectural and interior design to discerning clients throughout Southern California. David Levine showcases the best of Italian and European design in his showroom on La Cienega Boulevard. Specializing in ground-up design and full-home furnishing, Kate Lester Interiors is involved from framing to furniture installation. With over a decade of expertise in the luxury market—their design-driven, hands-on process has helped shape a brand ethos that reflects their coastal-inspired yet tailored aesthetic.

The trim detail transforms it from an appliance to a work of art. The 71-inch range gives us the space we need when we’re entertaining. Best of all, La Cornue worked with us to customize the color—a peaceful shade of blue I was able to create in my studio. I recently spoke with Wilson to learn how she become an interior designer, what it's like to have such a defined style and so much more. But with this house, we have a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to build our mudroom from the (muddy) ground up. Because our new mudroom connects to our downstairs addition, we have architectural and design flexibility.

Presenting fresh, exciting design concepts for the most discerning clients. Stars like Gwyneth Paltrow, Beyoncé, Demi Moore, and Joe Jonas, just to name a few. All of who share her passion for design and excitement for innovation. When you began to build a following, did your life change at all?

With this house, I’ve tried to treat myself as the client for the first time. And in our kitchen, our home’s heart, the answers to these two questions couldn’t be more important. We start and end each day in our kitchen; it’s where we gather for creative projects, enjoy meals, and entertain our friends and loved ones. Growing up on the French Riviera, Margaux gets her inspiration from a blend of the Mediterranean chill lifestyle and the sophistication of Parisian interiors. Her best challenge is understanding her client’s needs to deliver the space where they will relax and enjoy their loved ones.

People started following me as a person, not really as a textile designer. If you’ve ever visited Caitlin Wilson’s charming Henderson Avenue store, you know she’s all about making things pretty. That’s the foundation on which her signature classic and feminine interiors and product designs are built.

Founded by Summer Jensen, the firm is dedicated to contrasting light and shadow, exquisitely meticulous attention to detail, and a deference to the natural environment. Summer is without question one of the top interior designers in LA. From the finest showrooms across the globe to the bespoke gems of local artisans, interior designer Kishani Perera relies on a multitude of resources to create beautiful spaces.

"I grew up watching Nike athletes across all sports play their game," Clark said in a statement at the time she signed that deal, according to Fox Sports. "They have inspired me to work hard and make a difference. I’m humbled to be part of this first Nike basketball class and passionate about inspiring the next." It seems kind of crazy, but I think I ordered some Kravet fabric for a client and it took three months to get there. What I realized was, “Oh, I actually have a real opportunity here. Over the course of a few months, I was like, “OK, I’m going to do this.” So in 2011, I launched the textile line. Three or four years later, I had a new baby and was living overseas with my husband in Dubai. I was looking for the next thing that I was going to do, because I was settled into my new life as a mom, and I was ready for something to focus on, so I transferred my personal blog into more of a design blog. I was writing about my experience living overseas and sharing lots of pictures of my life [abroad], and traveling with my baby and my husband.

It’s interesting because the business and the following really grew together. My life changed all of a sudden when I realized that I had this power to have a business and create a brand. It took several months and a lot of back-end work and troubleshooting and fixing, but when it all went live, it was this moment when I realized that I could do anything. Now it probably doesn’t feel as much that way when someone launches an online business, but at that time, it felt like the world was my oyster.

Passione is a custom residential and commercial interior design firm owned by Sue and Giampiero Capelli. Masters of furniture refinishing and restoration with over twenty-five years of experience, Passione offers a complete custom design experience. What’s the biggest thing you’re struggling with today on social media? You can’t plan anything—[in terms of] what’s going to work, or even just marketing tools like SEO and advertising—there’s just so much just constantly changing because of technology. The power that it has over our small businesses is really scary. I think we’re struggling to know, for example, should we really be creating as many wallpaper patterns this year?

But more recently, I recognized that this could be fun if we don’t take it too seriously. So I do let people in a little bit on Caitlin Wilson Design, and I definitely have played around with it. I’m not doing it all the time every day; it’s just a fun complement to the brand. Designers Mark Cutler and Nichole Schulze come to cutlerschulze with a combined 40 years of experience in creating dynamic residential and commercial spaces. With projects globally, cutlerschulze creates designs that are familiar, timeless, and effortlessly chic. I love to do it with fashion because I’ve always been the face of my brand—that’s what you get when you name your business after yourself.

I had just moved back to the U.S. in 2011—my husband got into business school, and we moved to Philadelphia, so our lives were just totally crazy, but it was a really fun time. I was so lucky because it’s so much harder for businesses to break into social media now, and at the time, I don’t even remember how quickly my Instagram handle was growing, but it didn’t require that much effort. It was like, “Oh, just post a fuzzy picture of something and throw a filter on it.” But it was exciting—I was 25, and there were not a lot of designers selling textiles online and making it accessible for people. That was definitely the sweet spot, the void I was trying to fill. As a designer, I recognized how challenging it can be to actually get product and fabrics—at the time, you had to fax in an order. And then getting it on to a website and making it a functional e-commerce site—because that was before Shopify—and you just had to wing it.

For over a quarter of a century, Kenneth has forged a new dimension in the world of “Ultra Luxury” design. The mission of BHLI is the pursuit of perfection through luxury and beauty. As much as I try to plan, I have to remember that moments of creativity strike randomly. My best “ah-ha” moments usually result from surprise elements at some point in the process. In a serendipitous way, our pièce de résistance solved this kitchen challenge. Because we wanted the range to take center stage, we chose to place it between two islands.

The countertops, a soothing calacatta marble, will seamlessly flow into the backsplash. That’s especially true at our house, where five children and two adults each have their own activities and agendas. Amid the bustle, achieving a peaceful energy wherever I can is a big priority for me. This space—with its double oven, fridge, and freezer—joins two highly trafficked areas.

Now I have a marketing director that puts together the editorial calendar based on sales and seasonal events. Then I have a marketing manager in addition to [handle] other responsibilities involving e-commerce—she does the scheduling and [coordination of] collaborative posts. I’ve had people who’ve helped me with the writing, but I always edit things, so I still kind of tweak all the copy. With my children, that’s one of my fears—I don’t want them to be insecure or have mental health struggles because they’re growing up in this world with social media, with so much use of technology. So I realized that I have a real life, a real family and real kids, and they’re messy and I can’t do it all, and I think people appreciate that. I certainly appreciate the kindness and the support that I gained from that connection with my customers and clients and friends, so it’s a good support network for me.

A go-to designer for discerning clientele and celebrities alike, all of who revere his raw yet refined sensibilities. As principal of his eponymous firm, Ryan has a gift for translating luxury into exquisitely designed spaces. An artist at heart, Stephanie Hatten founded SH Interiors to create spaces designed with her clients’ tastes in mind. Raised in Louisiana’s rich culture, antiques are one of Stephanie’s passions. This love leads to the fabulous incorporation of one-of-a-kind pieces into her designs.

One of my favorite things about our kitchen is the natural light that streams in through a wall of windows. I want to our family and friends to feel that same, warm glow after the sun sets. To set the mood and achieve a sense of artistry, I’ll use a mix of lamps and wall sconces, canned lighting, pendants and chandeliers. With the proper placement, you can have light dance just the way you’d like it in any room. That doesn’t mean, however, that our kitchen can’t or shouldn’t be soft, inviting, and comfortable. We’re going with a light and fresh color palette, with shades of pale blues and sophisticated, deeper greens.

That study-abroad experience set Wilson’s career on a new course. But still, the designer’s globe-trotting experiences had a habit of transforming her career path. As her husband’s job moved Wilson’s young family to Dubai and then Hong Kong, the designer transitioned her one-time wedding blog into a lifestyle- and design-focused document of her daily life. Amy Simonyan’s contemporary renditions of luxury and elegance create a unique and personalized style. Inspired by nature, architecture, and people, Amy designs for functionality, comfort, inspirational style, and luxurious appointment, a look she calls Liveable Luxury.

With over a decade of experience, Olivia has had the joy of working on a wide range of award-winning projects, including residential, retail, office, and restaurant design. Style radiates from everything she creates, making Olivia Erwin easily one of the top interior designers in LA. Founded in 1997, Timothy Corrigan Inc. is considered one of the leading interior design firms in the world. Known for creating timeless and comfortably elegant interiors from offices in LA and Paris. Appearing in over 1,000 publications and 25 countries, Timothy Corrigan is most certainly one of the top interior designers in LA. As soon as Instagram came out, it was like, “OK, well, this is different.” It didn’t require as much writing and time, but it was nice to quickly share, especially because I was so busy when I actually launched the collection.
